I just finished restoring this old Dutch tall case clock made by Pieter Klock from Amsterdam.
It was very dirty and had not run for over 50 years.


It has 2 bells : a latger one on top for striking the hour and the first quarter.
And a smaller one that strikes the half hour and the 3rd quarter. On the half hour the clock strikes the hour that is coming up 30 minutes later. i.e. at 3:30, it strikes 4 on the small bell; this is traditional in old Dutch clocks.


It also has a moon dial, a calendar, a day of the week window and an alarm operated by a smaller weight
